Individual Supports (ASD only)

The Individual Supports (ASD only) Program is dedicated to helping individuals on the autism spectrum live independently while receiving the personalized support they need to thrive. This program was developed due to a partnership with the Department of Developmental Services (DDS), in effort to satisfy a need for support for individuals who are diagnosed solely with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). The IS (ASD only) program is designed for people who are capable of managing their own home but may benefit from regular, targeted assistance with everyday life skills and community involvement. Services are offered on a flexible schedule, depending on each person's needs, but do not include 24-hour care.

Our focus is on building the tools and confidence individuals need to lead self-directed lives. Support may include help with organizing daily routines, maintaining a household, improving communication skills, or navigating social situations. We also assist with accessing community resources, pursuing personal interests, and developing independent living skills that make everyday life more manageable and fulfilling.

What sets our program apart is its commitment to individual choice and respect for each person’s unique way of experiencing the world. We recognize that autism is a spectrum, and our services are tailored to honor different communication styles, sensory preferences, and personal goals. Rather than a one-size-fits-all model, we provide customized support designed to grow with each person as they gain more independence. Our program sites are also located close to each other, and also close to public services, such as public buses and trains, so that the people we support can experience greater community access.
